3rd Pie Burnt
| Well one day this man at the bakery had sort of burnt a pie. It was the third pie he had burnt that day. He asked me as I was walking through the door if I would like to have it. Me, I never refuse a pie so I took the pie with me. I'm smiling because I finally got the pie to my house. I was living & I scrapped the char off of it & saw its golden crust. Pie said it lived for me & I make it smile & we hug. Then I decided to save it for some day later. I let it do what it wanted to do. I kept smiling so it wouldn't know I was going to eat it. I wanted something fresh & that pie was semi-charred which broke my heart. So I just couldn't eat it. The pie's crust was gold & it’s filling the color of rose, it smelt so sweet. I looked at the old old pictures when I had no knife, I had to break pies open, those full plates of my victims. I took a picture of each one before I ate them. I never took a picture of this one. I couldn't do it because I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I left it on the table next to my closet. I opened the door of the closet & looked at all the pies I had been storing up. As the door opened it hit the table & the pie fell off so fast I couldn't catch it. It had already been so damaged from being charred. It crumbled open & said with hope "Don't do it again." I had no idea how to save it. I called a doctor & told him I was coming. I took the floor up. The pie said, "wait it's too late, this is the end..." I took it in my hands & felt it die. At the ER I sat in the waiting room foolishly hoping against hope that it had somehow survived. The doctor came in & said it tasted "dashing." I snapped & grabbed the doctor then I threw him off the hospital room & said he tripped. I loved that pie & never told it. I ate myself silly, the whole supply, so much I ended up face down in the toilet puking & crying. I went back to the hospital & on top of it. I wanted to jump off because that pie was my life for those 4 days. I want no other pie... | ||
